The music of Steelfinger

This is a compllation of songs I´ve made over the last 11 years. "Why should I download a bunch of crap from a guy I don´t even know?" you might ask. Let me tell you: I don´t have the slightest idea! If you nonetheless dare to spend some time you might still be surprised, since I believe all of the songs are pretty good. Not neccesarily easy-listening (things like that are mentioned though) but still pretty interesting.

Clicking on the title will immediately start the download, if by any chance you are not sure whether or not to spend the time to download, the details will probably tell you more about the song.

"Die Musik des Erich Zann" was a project Strauch and I had done for an exhibit of paintings (some of them are shown at the "Schattenwelt"). We wanted to catch the typical mood of the painting and turn that into a tune. The exhibition was in 1990 and of course the recordings are not super-crisp high-fidellity, but you´ll be surprised what a decent 4-track and a little bit of decent audio-engeneering sound like.

Well basically this is it for "Die Musik des Erich Zann" During the same period though, I did a couple of songs that still stand out as ... well,... different. The first two where done as a part of a concept-project called "Trash Town" originated of the singer of my band at the time, Peaches (now called "Blockwart P" for those into HipHop). The material has nothing to do with what the "Trash Town Kidz" did (Hardcore, old-shool, though) nore with HipHop.

Yet another song from the time, but without any reference to any other project. Well, we did a version with the "Trash Town Kidz".

Now we have a biiiig time-gap. Not that I didn´t record anything between 1992 and 1998, but first of all I haven´t had the time to remaster the stuff and also I admit, I was less productive during that period. There may be some more coming, though. As soon as I´ve found the time to remaster them.
